Privacy Notice
SL Ad Network operates advertising billboards and interactive advertising services inside Second Life. The network records account information supplied by registered users and in-world operational data needed to deliver, measure, secure, and account for advertising.
Billboards may record in-world identifiers and observations including avatar UUID and avatar name, billboard and campaign identifiers, Second Life region and billboard position, timestamps, approximate distance from a billboard, repeat observations used to estimate dwell time, touches, and actions selected from an advertisement such as teleport, notecard, landmark, group, website, gift, or other campaign actions. These measurements describe activity around our network; they do not prove that a Resident actually looked at an advertisement.
We do not need real-world identity information to measure in-world advertising. We do not intentionally collect private conversations through the billboard network. Account and server security logs may contain ordinary technical information needed to operate the website and mail service. Advertising reports may present aggregate and campaign-level statistics, while authorized network administration may retain underlying in-world event records for fraud prevention, accounting, analytics, and historical measurement.
Registered users may contact support@sladnetwork.com about their account or data. This notice may be updated as the network adds features.
